Horse Stocks

All of our horse stocks are of our own design and built in-house.

We routinely offer three styles: a mare-and-colt (double-horse) stock, and two different single-horse stocks.

Mare-and-Colt Horse Stocks

We consulted with several veterinarians when designing the mare-and-colt horse stock (a double-horse stock). We wanted the stock to work well and be safe for all: the vet, the mare, and her colt. The stock is designed to keep the mare close and calm while the vet is working on the colt. Expanded metal is on the upper part of the panels on each side of the colt so that the mare and colt can easily see one another and the vet can readily view the colt. All doors swing open, allowing them to be opened quickly if necessary. Custom mare-and-colt horse stocks can be built to order.

Single-Horse Stocks

Two single-horse stock styles are available and share the same features. One is more heavy-duty, having larger panel doors, with the front and back doors going down to near ground level. Our other single-horse stock is made with the same high-strength steel but more trim in design so it weighs less, with shorter door panels. Single-horse stocks can be custom built.

Custom Horse Stocks

We can also build any custom horse stock that you need. For example, we’ve custom-designed and built a triple-horse stock for a client.

• Bar with rings near the top for holding IV bags, plus a bottle holder
