ATV Crossovers — The “Field Hopper”

We have designed a piece of equipment that allows an ATV, UTV or similar vehicle access to an area previously off-limits due to a fence, creek, gully, or other obstacle. We call it the “Field Hopper.”

Engineering & Design

Frontier Steel Products’ UTV/ATV crossover uses the same time-proven engineering design developed by civil engineers to build railway bridges many years ago. Heavy gauge rectangular tubing construction provides strength while reducing weight. The top riding surface uses 1″ x 2″ rectangular steel tubing spaced 3.5″ apart for a smooth crossing and a livestock barrier. The structure gradually rises one foot before gently declining, and steel pockets welded on each side accommodate fence posts or H-braces for a permanent fence connection.
